2021 Knowledge Cafe - Business, Society and Technology: A heady cocktail of disruption - Webcast
Who Should Attend

Our offering is open to all industry professionals. If you find the topic fascinating, and appealing – most importantly – RELEVANT - we suggest that you connect, listen, participate, and actively incorporate the knowledge that you have learnt in your daily lives. Knowledge is power plus ACTION!

To remain relevant in the future, our membership will need to upskill and reskill themselves through ongoing development of their professional competence. This means striking a better balance between professional values and attitudes (ethics and lifelong learning), enabling competencies (such as decision-making, business, digital and relational acumens) as well as technical knowledge and skills to continue to demonstrate professional competence that is relevant to a member's evolving role. Our Knowledge sessions are aligned to SAICA's Pathways to Relevance – which uses business and its value creation process to address the professional competence needs of SAICA's members who work in a wide range of roles.

There are no areas of business and society that technology has not disrupted. Redefining business and changing it to the status quo has been DISLODGED. Technology has paved new pathways to growth and evolution. However, though digital transformation are the new buzzwords of many industries, there is a profound impact as we struggle to keep up with the changes it brings.

Join Brian Armstrong, as he discusses a cocktail of disruptions that exits within our businesses and societies. The talk is not about futurology; rather, it seeks to provide our audience with practical and actionable insights based on current facts and data to help business leaders formulate coherent strategies and execution plans to lead their businesses in our fast moving and challenging business landscape.
