Kimberley, Monday 31 October 2016 – Recently, 100 top performing Grade 11 learners from the Northern Cape packed their bags and gave up their school holiday to take part in the province’s Thuthuka Development Camp, an initiative run by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in partnership with the Northern Cape Department of Education. At the camp’s award ceremony, nine learners were honoured as the province’s brightest accounting, mathematics and physical science learners.

The ITC is the standard setting exam which is written after the completion of an accredited CTA programme and is an assessment of core technical competence. To be eligible to write this exam a candidate must hold a CTA that has been accredited by SAICA between 2014 and 2016.
