Johannesburg, 22 February 2018 - ISSUED ON BEHALF OF THE NTSEBEZA INQUIRY The Ntsebeza Inquiry, established by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in November 2017 with the aim of independently investigating allegations against some of its members employed by KPMG, kicked off with testimonies from key SAICA personnel, including its CEO, Terence Nombembe, on Monday, 19 March 2018.

Johannesburg, 21 February 2018 - Earlier today, the Minister of Finance delivered what he referred to as a ‘tough, but hopeful’ budget and we couldn’t agree more. The Budget was quite balanced and moderate – definitely not as radical as we’ve seen in the past.

Chairman of the Ntsebeza Inquiry, Advocate Dumisa Ntsebeza SC, independent panel members, evidence leaders, Inquiry contributors, members of the media and other guests – Good morning!
