Johannesburg, Wednesday, 16 April 2014 – When you father is the sole breadwinner and he dies, it is devastating for the family. When your mother has to support two children on a measly pension grant, one can imagine what a struggle it can prove to be in terms of finances.


Johannesburg, Wednesday, 16 April 2014 – Felicia Mabena was born in Pretoria and moved to Rustenberg to complete the AAT(SA) qualification. It was her interest and passion for Accounting that prompted her to join AAT(SA) and to study toward an AAT(SA) qualification- FET- AAT – Accounting Level 4, which she will complete in October 2014. She heard about the body on the internet whilst she was serving her learnership.


Johannesburg, Tuesday,15 April 2014 – The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) has welcomed the announcement by government of the increase of the tax-free lump sum incentive from R315 000 to R500 000 stating that this makes provision for low-income earners to enjoy more of their lump sum upon retirement.
