- Certificates issued to Exempted Micro Enterprises can be issued by auditors, accounting officers or verification agencies.
- Template certificate to be issued to Exempted Micro Enterprises as provided Government Gazette No. 31255
- Validity of Exempted Micro-Enterprise (EME) certificates - The lack of a SANAS logo on a certificate issued by an Auditor or Accounting Officer or accredited Verification Agency does not invalidate those certificates since no onsite visit would be performed for EMEs.

Mission:
SAICA seeks to influence the regulatory environment and development of auditing standards by commenting actively on exposure drafts and redrafting proposals issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB). SAICA also seeks to maintain and enhance practicing members' competency in Audit by offering a variety of seminars, workshops and other events.

Assurance Guidance Committee
The Assurance Guidance Committee (AGC) is a forum focusing on the auditing practitioner constituency of SAICA's membership, in the context of issues that concern members within the auditing profession and in the auditing standard-setting processes. It assists SAICA in influencing regulations and standards and also informing the public as to the role and scope of audit and assurance engagements. Audit Seminars and Events:
The International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) embarked on its Clarity Project in 2004 with the aim to clarify International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) to improve the quality of international auditing and assurance standards that are understandable, clear and capable of consistent application. The Audit Update training will focus on those clarified ISAs that are expected to have the most significant effect on the audit methodologies of audit practitioners in terms of their technical contents and their practical execution as part of a balanced and effective risk based audit approach.
