Eastern Region Council
The Eastern Region Council consists of representatives from members and key stakeholders who provide strategic direction and to promote the interests of the members and associates of the Institute resident in KwaZulu-Natal with an emphasis on the advancement of the theory and practice of accountancy in all its aspects. It is also a function of the Council to preserve and maintain the integrity and status of the profession. The Eastern Region Council also provides a forum and opportunities for an exchange of views among members.
The Eastern Region President for the 2009/2010 year is Mr. Suresh Naidoo who is also the Chairman of the Accountancy Profession Education & Transformation Committee.
