Kelly Masete - SAICA Project Director: Members in Business
|
Introduction
The Members in Business unit ensures that CAs in business are afforded the opportunity to use the services provided by the Institute. SAICA recognises that members in business have a critical role to play in the South African economy and will continue to mobilize their expertise in identifying, discussing and helping to resolve issues of national interest.
Whether you are the only SAICA member in your company or one of a team of CAs, we are there with you and for you, and encourage you to use the benefits of being part of a family of CAs. We want to ensure that you have access to the wide range of member services that SAICA provides.

Objectives
To ensure that:
- as a member in business you are constantly informed of the latest developments at SAICA and in the profession;
- you have access to, and participate in, interest groups or committees of your choice;
- issues of national interest that have a bearing on business and on the profession are proactively identified and addressed;
- you have a voice to be heard on important matters;
- there is effective communication between the business community, the Institute and other stakeholders.
How can you be involved?
If you do not invest your time and effort you will miss the benefits that members in business receive. Contact the MIB department at SAICA or your regional office for more information.
